Spoilers regarding Valoth's Birthday, Elemental Crafting, Fles
Good evening, everyone.
I've decided to write some spoilers for you guys regarding the coming events ever since starting from this week all the way up to this May. There's a lot going on - things being pre-made and ideas being written down and such.
Elemental Crafting
This Friday, the Keyblade Graveyard gets a update in form of Elemental Crafting themed release. You'll meet your old friend, Eraqus, again, while he gives you some farming quests for Armor, Helm, Cape, Weapon, and Pet Fragments, as well as for Elemental Essences. (You can already farm for the Fragments from Nulgath at SpecialArena if you want to get a head start with farming.) Once you will max out Crafting Faction, you're able to unlock different armor sets with the Fragments and Essences you have unlocked from the coming Merge Shop - note though, that there also will be two requirements along with the merge item resources - the new reputation, and one of the old classes. There will be sets such as:
- Death Lord
- Golden Death Lord
- Silver Death Lord
- Shadow Legacy of Nulgath
- Golden Gladiator
- ... and some other alternative weapons for those who doesn't want to work hard for the Dread Lord sets!
This whole Elemental Crafting will be forever available so never fear, you'll have as much time as you want, to farm for the sets from the coming Merge Shop starting this Friday. There will be also one super-special challenge quest for those who are bored and actually wants a challenge to complete. For those doing that, Ultra Death Lord's Helm will be a reward as well as 13th Cultist Scythe's alternative, non-skill version. (To get the version with a skill, you need to visit Valtrith at FireFall, or to get the RC-only non-skilled version, you'll find it at the Limited Quantity Shop as you may see already.)

Okay, I do not have much to say about this, except for... this.
Valoth's Birthday Event
Alright, now for the Birthday Event spoilers. This one will be a big one. There will be the Birthday Hub where you'll access the Farming Quests and the Birthday Shop for the Birthday Items that will be coming. And yes, there will be a special quest for those who wants to get the coming Undead Lord - Class.
There's also going to be the actual Birthday Event as well which will include event quests (this means that there'll be a birthday event story coming too) - where you'll get to fight through the World of Lore once again, to instantly put an end to a potentially big danger that would grow into something great... something powerful, unless it's stopped right away once it all begins.
The Birthday Event will release this May, 20th, after Friday the 13th - event is done for.
NEXT WEEK - Wrath of Vaal - Special Event!
Vaal is coming for you. Something horrible happened to him in the other timeline that he's coming from; which made him weak in his own timeline, so the only thing he were able to do to survive was to use a emergency temporal shift which leads him to right where you are. He notices that you've got the blood of the FleshWeavers in your veins, and decides to begin to train you as a FleshWeaver at the right price.

Wheels of Surprises + Elemental Forge + More!
Good day my friends!
Today, I bring you news regarding the drops in the Wheels of Doom and Destiny. The "Wheels of Choice" - drops have left now, and they have been replaced with some other items now, such as:
- Chaos Orb
- Light Orb
- Enchanted Nulgath Nation House (This is an all-new item, which is going to be only available from the Wheels for now for a while.)
- Shadow Legacy of Nulgath Armor and Helm (You'll need to only farm the Reputation for them this week if you get the set from Wheels!)
- Pink Daimyo
- Dark Paragon Pet
- Cybervoid Sword
- Infernal (Class)
- Wings of Fallen Aranx
- Bankai (Sword, you guys know this one.)
- Chaos Fiend of Nulgath (Armor, Helm, Cape and Sword)
- ... and did I forget to mention something?
These items will be leaving the Wheels on Monday, 2nd of May, 2015, so get them while you can. After they are gone, they will be replaced with something else, you guys will be informed about that once it will happen. These items for the wheels were added by me this time, hopefully most of them at least would please people as long as they'll be just available from there.
About Shadow Legacy of Nulgath set... if you win them from the Wheels, you will need only to farm for the coming Crafting-Reputation that's coming in this week's release. If you will not manage to win the item set from the Wheels, you would have to farm for some coming Elemental Armor Fragments and such, as well which would make it a longer progress, so if you get this item set from the Wheel, hang on to it! You'll be able to finish farming for it's faction soon, so you will even be able to equip it.
Also, this week there will be Elemental Crafting release coming up for you guys - with some farming quests for the mentioned Crafting - faction, and some new items such as the mentioned set you have the shortcut for this week. There's going to also be Death Lord armor set coming up, with Golden and Silver variants of it as well. If you don't want to farm that much for them, do not worry - there are some weapons, and even Golden Gladiator set coming, which are easier to get than Shadow Legacy of Nulgath's farmable version, or Death Lord sets. Something for the most of you Dark-themed fans though! In the future, I'll also be adding up some other armor sets for the Elemental Crafting so... after you get to begin the farming this week, make sure to do it so well that you'll be ready for the later updates of the Elemental Crafting itself.
Also, we have begun discussing out with Brigette about the possibility of EVOLVED BLACK KNIGHT being finally able to happen - so... if she will approve of my plans over it (She's the original creator of the original Black Knight class after all), I'll try and bring up something to make the Evolved version possible. Note that this is just a possibility for now and isn't guaranteed yet to happen. But I'm going to discuss about this with the other staff before making it real. If they gives their thumbs up over it... I'll let you guys know!

The Change
Introducing the Weather/Climate Feature
A new feature has been implemented to bring Hidden Project a bright, and unique realistic feature. Weathers like: hail, rain, a sandstorm, and stormy, have been given their own specific time and can be experienced in-game. Random monsters are generated within the set intervals of each weather ailment, as well as NPCs--which /may/ contain shops, and quests for these specific times. These happens randomly within any random map.

It will allow the players to experience weather conditions and all the four seasons. Each map has an automatic Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter Season with the day and night cycle in each season. This feature also includes weather such as rain and thunderstorms including the normal day. During each of the four seasons random monsters and NPC's will spawn in certain maps depending on what season it is. The 4 Seasons
A seasons category have also been implemented into the game, and much like the weather feature, these are set specifically for the time of season within reality. Hidden locations are also accessible during these seasons and may contain a secret boss, treasures, and much more.
Wheels of Choice is live
Many of you have sent us your request regarding Wheels of Choice over the last few days and we have done our best to select the items that YOU want the most. Indeed, that's a lot of items and a lot of people to please! The winners of the 500 Royal Coins raffle are as follows:

Scroll of Unbinding
A new item has been introduced to unbind your items. First batch was restocked today around 7AM, and there were only 30 items available on Limited Quantity Shop. Soon you will be able to farm this along with Royal Coins Mystery Box in soon-to-be-released World Boss system.
And you can now link your items to chat, so that you don't have to equip to make people see that item. This is also useful for trading purposes. We encourage everyone to use it whenever you want to sell an item. To use it, open your inventory and select an item, you will see the option to link the item.
Friday the 13th - Creepy Arrivals
Greetings! Valoth here, again. I've now officially decided what will be the next storyline, that will start this Friday the 13th, which is in around a month! The "Creepy Arrivals" storyline will feature a story around a character, which some of you might have met before. For the rest, this one might come as a new thing, but I am sure of it, that there are some of you, who knows who is coming for you next now that the Dracula's plans during Overlords Rising have been dealt with. Stay tuned... for the shadows are looking right at you!
Patch Notes 101
Today, we rolled out the new updates and bring some changes to the game system.
Bind on equip.
A simple three word term that has repercussions that echo across the world of MMORPGs, and sits as a primordial fear in the stomachs of RuneScapers world wide. For those of us that haven't played Warcraft or other games that use this system (if others do), bind on equip is exactly what it sounds like. If you slap on that bit of armor or wield that weapon, it becomes forever bound to your character. The first reaction to even hearing such a statement is generally "This isn't WoW!" or "But that's not fair!". Well, I can't completely say it is. However, do the pros of the system outweigh the cons?
As everybody quite enjoys, we'll begin with the negatives of such a situation. First and foremost is the economy. Items in circulation are constantly bought, used, and resold in the market. This keeps supply high and allows for easy requisition of items. With a bind on equip system, this method of trade is completely shut down. You can no longer buy something to use for a limited time, and then send it away. If you use it, you're stuck with it. Now this sounds very scary to many, and it is. You can't sell that santa you used just for the holidays, or relinquish that Guthan's set you were using for training. No, that money is forever gone, and the item is forever yours (disregarding destroying it). The bind on equip situation would also officially end the highly practiced art of loaning. No, now you can't borrow that Armadyl godsword you need so desperately. Or that whip you want to try out for training. Unfortunately, it's stuck with the first user. Scary, I know.
However, there are pros in this system. Yes, such a thing seems absolutely insane, but they are there. Right of the bat the is that quaint little abbreviation RMT (Real Money Trading). Yessir, bind on equip may actually impact the dreaded system that so corrupts our game. How you may ask? Well, the RMT system is built into the economy and obviously trading valuable items or their monetary equivalents. However, if you can't trade your multimillion gold Godsword, well where is the money for these little buggers? As we know a large portion of the industry comes from bots, but we can also safely say that a large portion of the profits are immediately slashed with the removal of some more valuable items, and possibly allow a more lenient approach to PKing (no promises). After this is the economy itself. Inflation is the name of the game babe. If you decrease the availability of items in the market, the prices go back up. Wouldn't it be nice to know your whip won't keep loosing its value? Or that those once unattainable Godswords will no longer be readily available to the masses? That isn't to say the prices won't shoot up too high though. Hey, I'm no RuneScape economist.
Personally, I enjoy retaining our differences from WoW. Not to mention that those pros are very unpredictable. And yet, we get that old challenge of having to work hard for those good rewards. Sure you can still buy the items if people don't use them, but you may have to work harder to find somebody who can.
By default, items you currently equip is set to bound, the rest of items in your inventory or bank are still tradable. We have added confirmation box to ask whether you want to equip unbounded item or not.
Trade Channel
A little extra feature we have added for everyone's convenience. It is basically the same as world chat, except that you don't need any megaphones. You can access it by typing /trade in-game. To go back to general chat, you can type /s or /say. In this channel, you can still recieve private messages, world chats, announcemennts, whispers, with the exception of room chat (or we call it general chat now). Do note though, we do not tolerate spams and floods in trade channel.
Regarding Rollbacks
We have successfully recovered the datas from 6AM this morning. Everything should be back to normal. We have activated 150% boost rates for the next 7 days.
New GUI Design
The updates comes with Kathleen's alll new sleek client design. If you have any problems with the client, please poke her in-game or leave a comment below.
Database Rollback
Due to complications this morning we're forced to perform a 6 hours rollback. We're restoring the data from the today around 6 AM (server time). If you've made any purchases since the 18th of April (6 AM) and your purchased items are missing then please send us a an email with as much information as possible and we'll confirm your purchase in our logs before sending it out again. If you experience any other issue after the maintenance, please send us a report. We're deeply sorry for this huge inconvenience! We'll activate boosts after the maintenance.

The Dark Birthday - 20th of May, 2016
Greetings.
The Dark Birthday is coming up in around a month, which will come up with also a epic event, only for you guys. Dark times are upon us, this coming May, 2016. A old known foe is rising once again, but... is he actually a enemy this time, or is he just going to work with you guys against a bigger foe, who you have seen only once in-game, without giving it actually any backstory... just yet?
The town of FireFall sure has risen, once again, yes... but will it be able to take everything that might be coming up for it? Is everything you have done this far, been for nothing? Sure, you might have stopped the threat of Valoth's Legacy, fought against Valtrith and his army, cleansed the corruption that Drakath caused at Heroes Haven, attended some Darkest Insanity happenings, and much more... but will you be safe from whatever is coming for you, this time? You have even stopped the threat of the Overlords, and fought against the supernatural enemy race at the space!
Coming this May, 2016, you will:
- Find out who is planning to attack next while having a chance to become a major threat
- Get awesome Birthday Rares during Valoth's The Dark Birthday - special event
- See the arrival of new Valoth's Legacy - Enhancements (for all-new Reputation + RC's)
- Fight against Death to evolve the powers you have gained from the Dark Rider
Yes, it might seem like something that some of people might not be interested of, but as usually, there are also other stuff planned than just those. There are still some releases left this April, and there should also be some other releases for May as well which are not yet just mentioned on this list. Also, these plans has small chance still to change, but if they does, you guys will be get informed about that one, so never fear!
Also... the Lucky Invasion Storyline for newbies might be continuing soon, if you're Level 1 to 20, /join luckyinvasion to begin. I've got something planned to continue it, the next part should be for levels 10 to 30. (Recommended level, not required level.)
As the last thing, I'm mentioning that the Overlords Rising finale has also been released in silence earlier today. To access it, /join FireWar and complete Valoth's new (and final) set of story quests to conclude the chain, and to find out who the Mysterious Figure is who you have fought twice during the saga.
To begin this saga (if you haven't yet), here's the map order for it:
